Episode 76 of Back of Pack Endurance

Anyone who knows me knows I’m obsessed with podcasts. I absolutely loved being a guest on the Back of Pack Endurance podcast (twice!), back when my article, “I Trained for a Marathon and Got Fat,” for RunHaven Magazine (now owned by Women’s Running Mag) went viral. These guys represent some of my favorite runners – the back of the packers. As a coach for Team in Training, I’ve coached runners of all abilities, and while I’m always proud of my sub-3 hour runners, some of the most incredible moments of my coaching career have been seeing the folks who weren’t even sure if they could run a marathon cross the finish line. Enjoy episode 76 of the Back of Pack Endurance Podcast!

Episode 76: Health Coach Laura Ingalls

Laura Ingalls joins us tonight to discuss a recent article she wrote for RunHaven concerning weight gain during endurance training, a subject near and dear to our hearts, especially John’s. She is currently focusing on a book and guest blogging but this has a good background on her philosophy. She promises that she will be writing more there in the future, plus I REALLY wanted to link to that site because I LOVE the name. If you have an issue with colorful language however, be warned.
